Our campground is only two miles from Higgins Lake, which was voted National Geographic’s sixth most beautiful lake in the world. This 10,000 acre lake is known for its clear blue water, soft sandy beaches, excellent boating, and excellent swimming with shallow sandy shores and sand bars around the lake and drop-offs for snorkels.

Cut River connects Marl Lake to Higgins Lake giving ample opportunity to fish for perch, trout, walleye, small mouth bass, and pike nearby. Boating enthusiasts can enjoy a day full of tubing, skiing or cruising the beautiful shore lines. Higgins Lake is known with locals for its excellent swimming locations while boating at Treasure Island, Sunken Island, Flag Point, The Springs and North and South State Parks. North and South State Parks offer public access points providing excellent beach facilities, launch sites, Hiking trails and cross country skiing.
